Growing
Evan went for her 1 month checkup on Wednesday, November 16th.
Here are her updated measurements:
She is definitely a growing girl! I go for my 6 week follow up today in Durham, so hopefully all is well! :)
Evan is still absolutely amazing. She slept for 8 hours last night.....really! I think she is going through a growth spurt right now. She is starting to actually smile AT us and is so much more interactive. She even smiles at her toys when she's laying on her play mat. And she really lights up when her Daddy gets home and plays with her. She melts my heart every time I see those dimply cheeks!!! She is such a good baby and we are so blessed!
Thanksgiving is tomorrow and we are traveling to Rocky Mount to visit with the Wallace family. Lots of firsts for Evan coming up! I know everyone is excited to meet her. :) We will be doing dinner tomorrow night in Bushy Fork with the Jennings family. Then on Friday we are going to Clarksville, VA to visit with more family and on Saturday, we are heading to Fuquay for the oyster party! Busy weekend, making the rounds but we love it! :)

- Height: 21.5 inches (I think they measured her height wrong at the hospital when she was born because she has grown a lot more than a 1/2 inch!)
- Weight: 8 lbs. 13.2 oz.
- Head Circumference: 14.5 inches

The pictures turned out WONDERFUL! We placed our order this passed Thursday and we can't wait to get everything back! :)
Amanda and Jake came up Friday afternoon for a visit. We had a great time! Amanda brought a ton of goodies for Miss Evan and we played dress-up on Saturday morning. We had fun taking pictures, but Evan wasn't too thrilled by the end. Here are a couple of pictures:

Evan is still doing great! She has been sleeping good....up to 6 hours at night! She had her first little diaper rash this week. And I can't remember if I posted that she got her belly button (cord fell off)....I think it was on Monday.
We're hoping to bring her to church for the first time next weekend. Today we went to visit Preston & Lorie at the hospital because they just had their baby boy, Brantley! He's so cute, and I know they're thrilled to finally have him here! Alrighty--that's all for this post! Thanks for keeping tabs! :)
